We have received additional guidance from Governor Justice regarding the operation of schools in West Virginia. School will be closed until at least March 27th, 2020, at which time the Governor will reevaluate the situation.
At Governor’s Justice proclamation, instructional services are to begin Thursday, March, 19th, therefore we will begin using our Polar Exploration packets for Thursday and Friday, March 19th and 20th and the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 23rd through March 25th.
Your student’s teacher will be contacting you tomorrow, Monday, March 16th to discuss the delivery of educational materials and other items.
Delivery of additional educational materials will begin on Friday March 20th.
We will continue with MEAL DELIVERY in the following manner:
- You may pick up your students’ meals (grab and go) at Doddridge County Middle School from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm beginning tomorrow March 16th and continuing thereafter.
- Beginning on Tuesday, March 17th buses will also be delivering lunch and breakfast in one trip per day to those students who request food delivery.
- Please email our Child Nutrition Coordinator, Tiffany Curran, at [email protected] or call her at 304-873-2322 to request bus delivery of meals. You will need to meet the bus at the bus stop to pick up your meals. You may also be contacted by School Personnel requesting this information.
These plans are very fluid. We are planning based upon the most recent information coming from Governor Justice’s office. As conditions change, we may have to alter our plans.
Thank you for your support during this time. We appreciate all the offers of help from the community and now, more than ever, we live out our mission statement: “Now is the Time: United to Make a Difference.”
