The Doddridge County Board of Education proudly celebrated the incredible staff who go above and beyond for our students every day.

We are honored to recognize our 2024-2025 Teacher and Service Personnel of the Year honorees, individuals whose dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment continue to shape the lives of students across the county.

• Teacher of the Year: Devin Wells
• Service Personnel of the Year: Dodi Davis (Itinerant Special Education Aide)

Doddridge County Middle School
• Teacher of the Year: Lisa Stemple
• Service Personnel of the Year: Kimberly Miller (Cafeteria Manager)

Doddridge County High School
• Teacher of the Year: Sandra Kimball
• Service Personnel of the Year: Courtney Dean (Cook)

Central Office, Bus Garage, and Maintenance Department
• Service Personnel of the Year: Karen James (Secretary – Special Education/Federal Programs)

A selection committee carefully reviewed all school-level honorees to determine the County-Wide winners, a challenging task, as each nominee exemplifies the highest standards of character, professionalism, and heart.

We are proud to announce:

• County Service Personnel of the Year: Courtney Dean

All honorees were formally recognized at our annual banquet on May 19 at Doddridge County High School, featuring a special dinner prepared by our very own Chef Benson at the Bulldog Bistro and commemorative plaques presented in their honor.

These individuals are more than just staff. They are mentors, advocates, and champions for every child who walks through our doors. Their work reflects the very heart of our mission: United to Make a Difference.
