Christmas is the season of giving! The fourth grade students of Doddridge Elementary are asking you to do just that! As part of a community service project the students created flyers and videos to encourage the public to donate to the Doddridge County Humane Society. If you find it in your heart to give, donations are due by December 12, 2025 to a 4th grade classroom.

Earlier this fall, four of our Bulldogs traveled to Springfield, Massachusetts to compete in the Eastern States Exposition Horse Evaluation Career Development Event. The team placed 3rd in the eastern region, with three members finishing in the top nine β a tremendous achievement that reflects their hard work, skill, and dedication! π

Under the direction of instructors Mr. Rabel and Ms. Wean, these students have demonstrated exceptional ability in evaluation, reasoning, and presentation β representing Doddridge County with excellence.

Today, thanks to a fantastic partnership with our Holistic Child Department/Communities In Schools Team, Route 18 Farmerβs Market, and the Doddridge County Farmerβs Market, students had the exciting opportunity to participate in a special on-site Farmerβs Market β part of our ongoing attendance incentive program.
Because they showed up and were ready to learn on this beautiful day, students received tokens and reusable bags to βshopβ for a wide variety of fresh produce β including cabbage, peppers, pumpkins, potatoes, apples, and much more! ποΈππ₯¬
Our students were thrilled to pick out their own fruits and vegetables and couldnβt wait to take them home to help prepare a healthy family meal. π₯π©βπ³
