Mckinney-Vento Act
If your family lives in any of the following situations:
In a shelter
In a motel or campground due to the lack of an alternative adequate accommodation
In a car, park, abandoned building, or bus or train station
Doubled up with other people due to loss of housing or economic hardship
Your school-age children may qualify for certain rights and protections under the federal McKinney-Vento Act.

Health Promotion & Immunization Information
Doddridge County Schools support and assist students in being healthy learners throught promoting annual well-child examinations, biannual dental examinations by licensed dentist, up-to-date immunizations, emergency information, and preventive health care. The school nurse is the school health expert who is qualified to lead the coordination and monitoring of health promotion through school screenings examinations.
Mental Health Issues
If you have a mental health need, please complete the MENTAL HEALTH CHECKUP form. This form can be found on the right hand side of the "Parents" page. You can also contact the Crisis Text Line by texting SHARE to 741741.
