The Doddridge County High School Football Team took a trip to Canton Ohio on their bye week. They toured the NFL Hall of Fame Museum and Stadium. It was a great and memorable experience.

Our Travel WV class had an unforgettable adventure today!
They explored the breathtaking New River Gorge with a once-in-a-lifetime Bridge Walk, grabbed some delicious pizza at Pies & Pints, and wrapped it up with a fun lesson in disc golf. What a perfect mix of adventure, food, and new skills! Stay tuned for their next trip to Smoke Hole Caverns, Seneca Rocks, and Blackwater Falls.

Did you know that students who miss 9 or fewer days in a 180-day school year are significantly more likely to stay on track academically and graduate on time?
📉 Missing just 2 days a month—even if excused—can lead to learning gaps, lower grades, and decreased engagement.
✅ Helpful tips for families to support strong attendance:
• Set a consistent bedtime and morning routine to make mornings smoother.
• Schedule appointments outside of school hours whenever possible.
• Keep communication open with teachers and the school if your child is struggling.
• Make school a priority—help your child understand that showing up matters.
• Plan vacations or trips during school breaks to avoid missed days.
Let’s work together to build strong attendance habits and support every child’s path to success—because every day counts!
