🎓 Attendance Matters! 📚 Did you know? Students who miss 2 days per month are considered chronically absent. Those who are chronically absent are at a higher risk of falling behind academically. We want every student to have the best chance to learn and grow, and that starts with being present at school! ✨ To reward great attendance, students who missed 5% or fewer days (4 days or less) of school from August to January were entered into a raffle. Each school had winners who received a prize of their choice! 🎉 Here’s Ethan from Doddridge County Elementary School with his well-deserved prize! 🎁🙌 Keep up the great work and remember: Attendance is the key to success! 🔑 #BulldogsInTheBuilding

School Counselor Spotlight – Doddridge County Elementary School Name: Mona Mayle What is your why? To make a difference in a child’s life. Greatest joy about being a School Counselor: Watching students grow into their own person. Something you want your students to know: The best part of my day is getting hugs and high-fives from my students. Pictured below: Superintendent Cochran with Mrs. Mayle, displaying her Certificate of Appreciation. A special thank you to the Doddridge County Family Resource Network (FRN) for providing a thoughtful gift bag to each School Counselor!
