September 19 has been declared West Virginia School Service Personnel Day by Governor Justice.
I also wish to express my gratitude for all the hard work and dedication our service personnel bring to Doddridge County Schools. Their efforts make a world of difference in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for students and staff alike.
Their commitment to their work and compassion for our students, whether in the cafeteria, maintaining our facilities, providing support in the classroom, making sure our buses are safe, transporting our students or managing administrative tasks, does not go unnoticed. They play a vital role in shaping the educational experience and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
So thank you to our School Service Personnel!
Superintendent Scott Cochran.

Opps. We made a mistake, and that's okay! We forgot that picture day was on the Wednesday of Spirit Week and Wacky Wednesday might not have been the best idea.
We will now be having "Dress Your Best" day instead!! Please note this change. If your student brought home a small flyer yesterday, just disregard it.

Isabella Ahouse was recognized by the Doddridge County Board of Education for leading the meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance at tonight’s board meeting.

Good Evening,
The Doddridge County Board of Education is committed to the safety of all students and staff members. As many are aware, there has been a statewide and nationwide circulation of school threats via various forms of social media. At this point, Doddridge County has no credible evidence as it relates to these threats associated with our schools, we will continue to monitor the situation in collaboration with the Doddridge County Sheriff's Office, WV State Police, Homeland Security and the Fusion Center. We would like to thank our local law enforcement agencies for keeping our schools safe and secure.
Scott Cochran
Superintendent
Doddridge County Schools
Governor Jim Justice released the following:

This Friday, September 13th, the DCES PTO is sponsoring a Hat Day! Students wanting to participate can bring $1 to wear their favorite hat!

The Doddridge County Board of Education, along with Superintendent Cochran, extends its continued thoughts and prayers to the student injured in yesterday’s motor vehicle accident. We ask that our students and community unite in prayer, offering strength and support for our fellow Bulldog and their family members.
