🎓 Attendance Matters! 📚 Did you know? Students who miss 2 days per month are considered chronically absent. Those who are chronically absent are at a higher risk of falling behind academically. We want every student to have the best chance to learn and grow, and that starts with being present at school! ✨ To reward great attendance, students who missed 5% or fewer days (4 days or less) of school from August to January were entered into a raffle. Students in Mrs. Kirkpatrick’s senior English class work through introductory stations to kick off a new unit focusing on anchor text, The Tragedy of Macbeth, by William Shakespeare. This activity contextualizes the literary time period and provides visual information about the setting of the play!
